K Fry in KL

K-pop evolution has been going crazy in these last few years. From drama, film, music, skincare, fashion to food; anything related to Korea will be a hot-stuff-item anywhere you go.

This great influence successfully landed on Malaysia and people are going crazy about it, especially Korean food. Maybe there is a truth on rumours about;

"Malaysians really loves eating"

Korean cuisine is now a trend among Malaysians and every time a new Korean food restaurant or dessert cafe opens; crazy amount of people will flood the place. This is not an exception for K Fry . According to their site, the word K Fry is a slang for Korean fried chicken. It is a home grown Korean brand that specialises in authentic Korean Fried Chicken and hearty Korean food with an urban twist.

With only 5 outlets across Malaysia, this place has been chosen as a go-to food to eat mostly among youth. Their best-seller menu is Original Cheesy Fried Chicken Bumbuk.

I've tried this incredible menu myself, and all I can say is it's worth every penny. It's very spicy and the cheese plays a big role as a spiciness-reliever when eaten together. Here is a video of the 'serving-process' of this menu (that I took) when I was there:

Every workers at K Fry will have to go on a training on how to specifically serve the food and even saying few words in Korean to customers. The vibes and ambience of this restaurant are kind of dark and abstract with big screens of TV showing K-Pop music videos.
