A köfte cooked in a pan (made from tile or ceramic) is one of well-known plating for these meatballs. You can actually find any kind of meat being cooked in these kind of way in Turkey.

For people who never been to Turkey, I am sure you never experience this type of food or maybe you have encounter similar kind of plating somewhere else.
Köfte is actually a name for meatballs cooked in Turkish style and you can find it in almost every local restaurants anywhere in this country. I can say it can be the symbol of Turkish food.

I was planning to try the original taste of köfte cooked in ceramic but when I saw the word 'Kaşarlı' written in the menu, I just went for it. It was a very good choice indeed.

This local restaurant which was located near Hamamyolu (their current location is unknown), gave the vibes of local Turkish restaurant and it's family-friendly decoration.
